Fresh Arkansas Morels

A friend brought me these fresh Morels from his farm near Fayetteville, Arkansas. Having never even seen a Morel, I had no idea what to do with them until I tried three Chicken variations. And WOW,- Totally Yummy!!

They contributed a roast Turkey flavor to a basic chicken breast and mixed vegetable sauté.

Next, I tried a less eventful Chicken stir-fry, but these didn’t pair well with a tangy soy sauce. Finally, I sliced the prettiest big ones in Julienne strips and made a miraculous Chicken variation on Turkey Divan a béchamel-base casserole with Broccoli. It worked great. Clearly, here’s a food memory to dine for!
